Customer Checklist

The following checklist to be completed for the installation to commence. The customer is responsible for all the items on the checklist and must report any deficiencies to the sales representative to avoid installation delays.

Important

Electrical power, mechanical service pipework and network will need to be installed prior to machine arrival. When in position the printer can be connected locally to mains services. Following this, the machine can progress to the Installation phase.

Electrical Requirements

  • Is the supply voltage (208VAC-240VAC) correct? Was a step up/step down transformer installed to maintain an optimal voltage range of 220VAC - 230VAC?

  • Is the number of phases Single Phase (2 line plus ground)correct?

  • Is the ground wire matching or lower than the load conductor/neutral wires?

  • Is the amperage (60A) correct?

  • Is the line frequency (50/60Hz) correct?

  • Is the Qualified Electrician scheduled to be onsite to connect power from the electrical panel to the printer?

Air Requirements

  • Is the compressed air line installed near the printer and ready for connection?

  • Is the compressed supply air line pressure (100-150 psi) sufficient?

  • Is the compressed supply air line volume capacity (15 scfm continuous air @ 100-150 psi (vacuum)) sufficient?

  • Is the compressed air dust and moisture free?

  • Environmental Requirements

  • Is the room enclosed, have low dust and well ventilated?

  • Is the relative humidity (55%-65%) meet the printer requirements?

  • Is the ambient room temperature (70°F-75°F or 21°C-23°) meet the printer requirements?

Network/PC/RIP

  • Is there a dedicated IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS server (s) assigned for the printer?

  • Is there a network cable (100 baseT) installed and ready to connect to the printer?

  • Is the RIP software installed, updated and with appropriate number of licenses on a dedicated desktop computer?

  • Dedicated IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS information ready? Will an IT specialist be readily available if needed?

Room/Location Requirements

  • Does the room size meet the minimum requirements?

  • Are all the doors and openings large enough to accommodate the printer length 222.27 inches (5.646 meters) and width 113.101 inches (2.873 meters)?

  • Is there a clear path between the receiving area and the location the printer is going to be installed?

  • Does the receiving area have enough room to accommodate the printer skid 232.27 inches (5.900 meters) and space to lift the printer off the skid?

  • Is the rigging team scheduled to be onsite to unload the skid and printer from the transport truck to the designated installation location for the printer?

  • Is a forklift (s) with the lifting capacity of the skid and printer 6750 lbs. (3062 kgs) scheduled to be onsite?

  • Will the forklift have minimum forks at least 51 inches (1.295 m) in length?

  • Will a minimum of 4 heavy duty skates be available to move the printer if needed into the designated location?
